- ARTIST STATEMENT:
- "I find many patterns and statements in the world
- around us, social as well as physical and manmade. My work is an
- expression of that reality, and it is usually representational and
- interpretive. Every painting has its own development and evolution
- leading to that expression. Like life, there is significance and truth
- to be found in closer scrutiny of what may at first appear to be merely
- pleasant or inviting...." MH
