ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Christie K. Lephart searches for the essence or spirit of the subject, both in her portraits and experimental art involving nature.
Media may vary from oil, acrylic or other water media assisted by collage, layering or printing techniques and painting
with string, leaves or other found objects to achieve the desired textures.
 
Lephart is past president of the
Dublin Area Art League, Dublin Ohio and a member of the Central Ohio Watercolor Society.
Her work has won numerous awards and hangs throughout the United States in public and private collections.
