A self taught artist, Jeanne Mueller explores creating visual sensations on an assortment of subjects in her paintings. Jeanne works with color relationships and atmosphere in her paintings exploring color, light and shapes. Painting places or things that have caught her eye, Jeanne creates landscapes, still life and an occasional abstract work in a variety of mediums. She feels her art needs to represent an emotional feeling about something and hopes to share that feeling with others.
Jeanne is a member of the American Watercolor Society, the Delaware Watercolor society and the Baltimore Watercolor Society. She is the Delaware representative for the Southern Watercolor Society. She is also a member of the Bethany Beach Watercolor Society, Rehoboth Art League and the Ocean City Art League. She has won awards in both the Bethany Beach Watercolor Society shows and the Delaware Watercolor Society shows. Her work may be seen at Gallery One in Ocean View, DE as well as many private collections on the East Coast.
She has been selected to show in the prestigious Baltimore Watercolor Society at the Strathmore Mansion in 2008. She will also be participating in gallery showings at Gallery One as well as Plein Air activites in the Bethany/Rehoboth Beach, De area. Visit www.galleryonede.com for more on this artist.
