Originally from Pennsylvania, Jeanne has lived and painted watercolors in the mountains of Greenbrier County, West Virginia since 1973. She has studied in workshops with Ed Whitney, Judi Betts, Mel Stabin, Jeanne Dobie, Don Getz,
Skip Lawrence, Charles Sharpe, Frederick Graff, Jan Kunz, Tom Lynch, and others.
She is a signature member of the West Virginia Watercolor Society, an associate member of the Southern Watercolor Society, and a charter member of the Greenbrier Artists, a local group who have painted together every week since 1974. She paints and teaches classes in her home studio in Lewisburg, WV.
Her work has won awards in local, state, and regional exhibitions and is in numerous private and corporate collections. Eight of her watercolors have been accepted for the West Virginia Wildlife Calendar, one appearing on the cover.
