| Pat Fiorello 404-531-4160 patfiorello@aol.com www.patfiorello.com About the Artist: Pat Fiorello is a professional artist who especially enjoys capturing the beauty and energy of nature in her brightly colored watercolor paintings. Her primary subjects include landscapes, cloudscapes, gardens with architectural accents, and florals. After not painting since elementary school, Pat began to learn watercolor at the age of 35. She began teaching herself to paint and then took courses, workshops and private study with noted watercolorists to further develop her artistic abilities and talent. After a successful 20 year corporate career, including executive positions at The Coca-Cola Company and Nabisco, Pat committed to pursue her passion for painting and became a full time artist. Pat’s family name “Fiorello” comes from an Italian lineage meaning “one who lives near a wall of flowers,” so it’s no accident that she is drawn to painting flowers and other scenes which capture the essence and beauty of nature. Pat paints both in her home studio and on location. She has painted while traveling to such places as Tuscany, Lake Como, Provence, Giverny, Bermuda and the Canadian Rockies. Her work has been featured in over 60 juried shows and she has had over a dozen “one woman” exhibits including being the featured artist at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. Pat also teaches art classes and workshops in the US, Caribbean and Europe and has licensed her images for greeting cards and home décor products. She has served as President of the Georgia Watercolor Society. |
