A brief description of our group.
Our organization has been around since the early eighties. We have a membership of around 50 to 70. The number fluctuates a great deal due to the nature of living in the Keys, (lots of "Snow" birds coming and going). Our membership is restricted to those who live in the Keys, whether full or part time.
I have been on the board of directors for 16 years and just completed my third year as president. We have an 11 board membership.
Our society has a twofold purpose, one is focused on continuing education by means of a workshop and the second area regards our annual judged show.
Last year our show was judged by Frank Francese. We had 12 ribbons and awards totaling nearly $2400.
