Margaret Nichols Dominici

Loving drawing and painting in all types of media since a child, Margaret went on to do three years of art study at the Mississippi University for Women, followed up by various
independent study courses at Rhode Island School of Design and Wesleyan University and art workshops throughout the years.

Though merely a "Sunday painter" and not a professional, Margaret has a passionate interest in the principles of design and believes that art can take many different shapes and forms.
Since discovering a Maxine Masterfield book in the nineties, experimental techniques in water media have been of prime interest to her, causing her to be influenced by the
works of not only Masterfield, but Mary Todd Beam, Betsy Dillard Stroud, Pat Dews, Pat San Souci, Mark Meharry, Mary Alice Brauktman and Pat San Souci.

While living in San Antonio for many years, Margaret was active in the San Antonio Artists Alliance and still supports the San Antonio Art League.
She is also a member of the Mississippi Watercolor Society, the American Watercolor Society, the International Society of Experimental Artists, and the National Society of Casein and Acrylic Painters.
